Children & Youth Sunday School at 9:15 a.m.

(September through May)

Children entering Preschool through 12th grade meet in classrooms on the lower level beginning at 9:15 a.m. every Sunday.  Warm and caring teachers use age-level appropriate materials and activities.  The Sunday School choir practices two Sundays per month in preparation for singing for worship.  The Junior High youth enjoy a Breakfast Club once a month with food, study and fellowship;  regular classes are held the other Sundays, as well as service projects.  (See Youth page link)

Sunday Adult Bible Forum at 9:00 a.m.

Adults of all ages meet each Sunday, year round, for coffee and Bible study in the Library/lounge on the first floor of the church. The topics range from current issues, and how Christians meet them as disciples of Jesus, to study books of the Bible or of our Christian life.

Singing the New Song
Led by Dr. Victor Gebauer, professor of worship

Come to probe the untold stories and meanings of the hymns we sing. Explore one of Christianity's most enduring, deeply loved, bitterly contested, widely practiced habits -- singing the praise of our Lord and Savior. Explore what's good, what's new, what's old, the why and when and where of singing together of our faith.

April 6 - Singing the New Song
April 13 - Hymns Mean More than Hymns
April 20 - How Hymns Surprise Us

The "Singing A New Song" topic at Sunday Adult Forum has been extended through May 4.

"Keeping the unity of the Spirit" (Ephesians 4:1)
             Led by Maynard Dorrow

What is at work at Jehovah Church to keep our unity?
What do we find in the New Testament that helps us understand our oneness, our unity?
What can we learn from the experience of the early church and the counsel of the apostles, especially the apostle Paul, about how we can better recognize our unity, strengthen our unity, and practice our unity?

This "unity" theme as found in the New Testament in the context of Jehovah Church will be the study for the second, third and fourth Sundays in May.

Maynard Dorow will be the leader in this open Bible study. All are welcome around the table in the lounge. The class starts with coffee, a period of communal prayer and then the Bible study.
