Children & Youth
Kids Kingdom at 9:30 a.m.

(September through May)

Children entering Preschool through 12th grade meet in classrooms on the lower level beginning at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday.  Warm and caring teachers use age-level appropriate materials and activities.  The Sunday School choir practices two Sundays per month in preparation for singing for worship.  The Junior High youth enjoy a Breakfast Club once a month with food, study and fellowship;  regular classes are held the other Sundays, as well as service projects.

Adult Bible Class (ABC)
“Reading Biblical Literature: Genesis to Revelation”

All are welcome around the table on Sundays @ 11:30 a.m. in the lounge

DVD Lecturer: Prof. Craig Koester of Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN


This course offers a comprehensive, book-by- book analysis of the Bible from the fascinating perspective of literature and narrative.

Prof. Koester winsomely guides the class through great ancient stories, opens new meanings and inspiration from these powerful texts.


Women’s Wednesday Night Bible Study

A women's Bible study will meet every other Wednesday beginning Sept. 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the lounge at Jehovah Lutheran Church.

The subject will be "Finding I AM" by Christian author Lysa TerKeurst, based on the seven "I am" statements by Jesus in the Gospel of John.

TerKeurst's book describes Jesus' healing for "the deep cry of your heart" and "ache in your soul that keeps you up at night,"

Class dates are Sept. 20, Oct. 4 and 18, Nov. 1, 15 and 29 and December 13. Refreshments are provided. The sessions are free. All are welcome.

Central Central Lutheran School (CLS) (775 North Lexington Parkway, Saint Paul, MN) offers high quality, Christ-centered education for preschool through eighth grade.

Jehovah Lutheran Church is one of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod churches in the area which support CLS. Some teachers are members of Jehovah and some children from Jehovah attend CLS.
