WOMEN'S Wednesday Night Bible Study Set on Gospel of Mark
A women's Bible study on the Gospel of Mark will meet at 6:30 p.m. alternate Wednesdays beginning Jan. 24 in the
lounge at Jehovah Lutheran Church, 1566 Thomas Avenue, St. Paul.
The basis for the sessions will be "The Gospel of Mark: The Jesus We’re Aching For" by Christian author Lisa Harper.
According to promotional material for the book, Mark "unveils a Jesus of unparalleled power and
authority but also a Jesus of humility and love. And while this Jesus invites each of us into a greater
story through His teachings, He demands we come as active participants. We must acknowledge Him, seek salvation in Him,
and follow Him wherever He leads."
Sessions are free. Refreshments are provided. All are welcome.
